How can I get more traffic from Google??
To get more traffic, you need to think more like your visitor and more like Google. The artistry of the site is less important than the content. While artistry may be important at some level, it is far less important than your site content. What is keeping people from your site may be several things, among the items is the market as it existed last year, another item is whether Google returns you as the result of a search. You are not going to get searcher on your site if you do not show up on the first page of Google search results, and you do not tend to show up on the first page of Google search results.
What you need to do is take a long hard look at your site and say, "Why would Google move me to the front of search results? What have I said that is note worthy?" Winning Google's visitors is a lot like a competition that you might enter with the content being "Tell us why you should win a $1,000,000?"
If you sent in an entry form for the above competition and said, "I am Jane Doe, I would like the money," would you expect to win? No. You have told them who you are, but, given them no reason to find you special. Google looks at your site in the same way. So, what is special about your site?
You list cities that you service. You provide mom and pop phrasing about wanting to sell property, and you say that you have a full MLS available. Is that so much different than anyone else says they have to offer? Probably not.
You need to change your text content. Further, you do not want to change to text to explain why you are a nice or qualified person ... everyone says how nice they are and how qualified they are. Google does not believe it or care.
You must do multiple things on your site. You must repeat over and over where you are, what areas you service, and that you sell homes, condos, lots, acreage, properties, real estate, whatever. You have to convince Google you are earnest about where you are, what you do, where you service. You can't say it too much, and you can't do it all on one page. You have to choose to do several pages and choose to focus on individual things on individual page ... it can not all be on the main page (there is too much).
At the same time, the main page has to warn Google that information is available throughout your site by using links to other pages as inline anchor text. You want Google to get a good feeling that you have lots to say.
You need to add text that describes your area. Google wants to know that you know your area. Google wants to know that they can send people to your site for services and that they will get good information about the area(s). Create a page for each major area you sell in.
Create text that talks about your area. Not the content on your page called "Area Information." Show that you can personally provide information, not just send people off to other areas to find out about the area. The visitors may like the links on the page, but, Google wants to know what you personally can say something to add value to the information others can provide. If you are not adding any more value than anyone else, your new site will tend to be buried behind others.
Write a significant chunk about things that happen in the area, give some specific examples, but, not all things that happen. Talk about the housing market in town, or trends. Talk about why the some of the communities are especially nice. Point out features about areas of the communities. Point out how the communities work together. Talk about home prices in the community. Talk about availability of acreage or lots, talk. (You don't have to do everything suggested, just choose something to provide information on and do it.)
I can not assure you anything, except, Google will like you if you contribute to the world knowledge base. If google likes you, you show up faster on search results. If you show up higher on search results, you may get more visitors. If you get more visitors, you may get more contacts. If you get more contacts, you may get more sales.
I know, I over did the explanation. But, you are not asking for how to improve your traffic. Depending on your market place and competitors in your area, you may have to do more or less of these pages. Areas that have lots of competition, you have to provide more information. Areas that have little competition require less. You may have to try multiple times before you get the right combination of information to work in your area, but, it can work.
